Vetiver, also known as khamare, is a plant native to austral Africa and South-East Asia, with roots that grow up to 3 metres deep.

For centuries, vetiver has embodied stability and power, awakening the roots of the soul. In mixology and perfumery, its earthy, tuberous character, enhanced by notes of pine, makes it a flagship ingredient for achieving the exceptional.


In perfumery, vetiver reveals a complex profile of powerful earthy, woody, tuberous and pine notes. Extraction with supercritical CO2 captures the main essence, while steam distillation reveals notes of berries, spices and liquorice.
